If you select the Øresund Bridge, then you will have to consider whether you want to use the metro when you buy the Øresund Commuter Card.
Travel unlimited within your transfer areas
You can travel from a station in Greater Copenhagen (A-L) to a station in Southern Sweden (A-J). If you are commuting to Malmö, you are free to decide where you get off in area A. If you are commuting to Kristianstad, you can get on and off anywhere you want in area J.
Metro add-on on your Øresund Commuter Card
If you travel in the zones 1-4 and you would like to take the metro with your Øresund Commuter Card, you have to select the metro add-on when you buy your Øresund Commuter Card in the app.
The price of the metro add-on is DKK 80/month. You can also choose not to buy the metro add-on and then save the DKK 80 every month.
II you choose not to have the metro add-on on your card, but wish to use the metro on rare occasions, you can buy an Extension Ticket for your Øresund Commuter Card and add one zone to your normal journey, and then your card will also be valid for the metro for a limited period of time.
