Check in with the DSB's app
Check in functions as a flexible, digital ticket for when you who need to travel immediately. As soon as you have checked in on the app, you can travel as far as needed without considering zones or where the journey ends. You check out with a swipe in the app and pay for the trip, which often has the same price as a personal travel card.
Earn points while you travel
You can earn points by purchasing tickets and cards in the DSB's app or by using Check in for your train journeys, as long as you are logged in with your DSB Plus profile.
Traffic Information in DSB's app
It is now possible to receive notifications with traffic information in DSB's app. You can sign up for notifications when you have signed up for DSB Plus and you have logged in.
Your Commuter Card is in the app
With a DSB Commuter Card for adults or children, you can travel freely by train, bus, and metro in the selected zones at a fixed low price, with or without the metro supplement. You can easily purchase and renew your commuter card in the DSB's app and choose to receive a notification on your mobile when the card is about to expire. With the DSB Commuter Check, you can see the advantages of a commuter pass in terms of price, carbon emissions, and travel time. You can also view the price for your specific route in the DSB's app.

Avoid the Penalty Fare
If you forget your phone or run out of battery and so are unable to show your Youth Card or commuter pass in the app, you can avoid a fine of 750 DKK if you sign up for DSB Plus and the Forgot Card service.
Buy seat reservation
In the DSB's app you can buy either a Seat Reservation or a Commuter Seat Reservation. If you have a commuter card in the app, you can reserve a commuter seat for only 10 DKK for the entire or part of your journey. There is a limited number of commuter seat reservations, so be sure to reserve your seat ahead of time.
Upgrade your commuter card to DSB 1’
If you commute by train and prefer to travel business class, you can buy the DSB 1’ supplement in the app. Then you can focus on your work or read today’s newspapers while enjoying a complimentary cup of coffee, tea or bottle of water when travelling with InterCity, InterCityLyn or Lyn+. You can get a free daily newspaper and a bottle of water or a cup of coffee or tea in the station’s 7-Eleven if you show your commuter card.
Refund your tickets and cards in the DSB's app
If you have bought tickets in the DSB's app and you want a refund, you can do so directly in the app up to the day before your travel.
If you want to refund an active commuter card, you can have the rest of the period refunded minus 8 days. If the card is not active yet, you can refund the entire amount.
If you have bought an Orange Fri ticket in the app but you do not need it, you can easily have it refunded up to 30 minutes before the scheduled departure. The cost of the ticket or card will automatically be refunded to your credit card.

You can find the different types of commuter cards and supplements under the “Buy” menu. You can find the price of the product by entering the stations you wish to travel to and from.

Find your ticket or commuter pass in the DSB's app. At the bottom, you will find a ‘Refund’ button, which is active as long as the ticket or pass is refundable.

If you have a profile on our Business Portal, then you can buy a ticket by invoice if you are signed in to DSB Plus.
It is important that the e-mail you use to log into the app is the same as the one your company have used for your profile in the Business Portal.
If you already have a DSB Plus profile with another e-mail address, you must change the e-mail address of your DSB Plus profile to the one you are using in the Business Portal. Then you can buy tickets and cards by invoice.

If your company has made an agreement with DSB Business, you will have the option of paying by invoice.
If you travel in your private time, you must simply choose another method of payment than invoice. Then the ticket or card amount will be deducted from the chosen credit card.

Yes, our payment system has 3-D Secure. It is an extra security layer, which provides you with a higher level of security when shopping online using Visa, MasterCard and Dankort. It means you will receive an SMS with a code to use when you shop.

The DSB's app is available for iPhone with iOS version 15 and higher, as well as phones with Android version 8 and higher. Devices that cannot access the App Store or Google Play are not supported. We do not support beta operating system versions.
