Frequently asked questions and answers in relation to the booking in DSB Netbutik Udland

  • Print at Home: Germany, France, Holland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Sweden, as well as London and Barcelona.

    By mail delivery: Austria, Switzerland, Sweden and Norway

    *Print at Home for Øresundstog to Sweden requires that you travel to/from a station outside the Greater Copenhagen area.

  • Print at Home: You have to print a Print at Home ticket on white A4 paper and bring it on your journey. You can buy Print at Home tickets until the requested date of departure

    You can have your ticket delivered by mail if:

    • you buy your ticket 10 business days before departure when your postal address is in Denmark
    • you buy your ticket 20 business days before departure when your postal address is outside Denmark

    If you want mail delivery, a fee of DKK 50 will be charged which will not be refunded if the ticket is cancelled. Note that not all tickets are refundable.

    Please note: Print at Home tickets for DSB and Deutsche Bahn in Denmark and Germany

    If you only have to travel with DSB or Deutsche Bahn in Denmark and Germany, you may show your Print at Home ticket on your smartphone or tablet. If you travel outside Denmark or Germany, you need to print your Print at Home ticket on white A4 paper before your departure.

    Please note that it is your responsibility to ensure that the screen of your smartphone/tablet is intact and that the Print at Home ticket can be inspected and scanned correctly. 

  • You can travel with up to 4 children when traveling to Germany and with 1-2 children for other journeys.

    • For local travel in Germany, you can travel with up to 4 children.
    • Children under 4 years travel for free if they do not require their own seat.
    • Children aged 4-11 pay the regular price for seat reservations.
  • For each traveller, you can link the following discount cards by clicking on the pencil icon:

    • BahnCard (25 1st class, 25 2nd class, 50 1st class & 50 2nd class)
  • On journeys in connection with Germany, it is unfortunately not possible to see the individual price. Alternatively, you can order one ticket per person.

  • International tickets are divided into three ticket types:

    • Non Flex: The ticket is not refundable
    • Mid Flex: The ticket is usually not refundable as these are often DSB Orange Europa products
    • High Flex: The ticket is refundable as it is generally a full price product. Note, however, that this does not apply to Print at Home tickets for journeys in connection with Sweden.

    Find your Print at Home ticket and apply for refund. All you need is your booking number (DNR) and the e-mail address you provided when you booked your journey.

    Any fees and seat reservations are not refundable.

  • If you have chosen Print at Home ticket, you will receive and e-mail with a link from which you can download your ticket. If you have chosen delivery by mail, you will receive your ticket by mail within 10 business days in Denmark and 20 business days outside Denmark.

  • Your name must be stated on the ticket as the ticket is personal.

    It is important that you state the correct e-mail address as you will receive your receipt with a link to your Print at Home ticket. 

  • No, you have to print your Print at Home ticket on white A4 paper before your departure so you can show it to the onboard staff on request.

    Please note: Print at Home tickets for DSB and Deutsche Bahn in Denmark and Germany
