Standard tickets/High Flex
- Europa Flex, Flexpreis and normal price are terms for a standard ticket without discount. You can buy standard tickets for a number of countries and cities in Europe.
- When you search for a connection at DSB Netbutik Udland, the normal price is usually shown in the “High Flex” field.
- The ticket is refundable free of charge until the day before departure if it has been purchased from DSB Customer Centre International on +45 70 13 14 18 or from DSB Salg & Service Udland (DSB Ticket Sales International).
- For journeys in connection with Germany, the ticket price will depend on the type of train used for the journey.
- Tickets issued for ICE trains can be used for ICE, EC, IC and regional trains. Tickets issued to IEC/IC trains can be used for EuroCity and InterCity trains and regional trains. Tickets issued without ICE, EC or IC mark can only be used for regional trains.
- If you use a train of a different type than that specified on the ticket, you will have to pay a supplement on the train.
DSB Orange Europa/Non Flex
Sold for first and second class to Germany, The Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, The Czech Republic and Austria.
The name DSB Orange Europa will be stated on tickets between Denmark and Germany. The name Sparpreis Europa will be stated on tickets between Germany and the other countries as this is the name used in the other countries.
For journeys in connection with the mentioned countries, it is not possible to search for DSB Orange Europa tickets, but if you search for a connection at DSB Netbutik, the DSB Orange Europa ticket will often be shown in the “Non Flex” field as the cheapest option.
The ticket is valid for a specific day and specific departures. The date and train numbers are specified on the ticket in the “via” field. If you want seat reservation(s) for the specified trains, you have to pay for the seat reservations.
- An adult can bring up to four children under the age of 15 years free of charge (domestic travels in Germany, here it needs to be his/her own children or grandchildren)
- Children who travel alone or with other adults pay approx. half the price of an adult.
- Seat reservation and a surcharge are always payable for children who want to reserve a seat.
- There are a limited number of tickets for each departure, and the price varies depending on the date of order, date of departure and time of departure.
- The ticket and seat reservation are only valid for the chosen connection.
- The ticket and seat reservation cannot be changed or refunded.
- Tickets can be issued for a maximum of 5 persons per ticket.
25% discount on Danish connection tickets for SJ Supersaver Sverige tickets
You can get a 25% discount on connection tickets on the normal price of a SJ Supersaver ticket if the journey starts outside the Greater Copenhagen area. The ticket is only issued as a one-way ticket and is valid for the date specified on the ticket.
- The ticket is not refundable.
- Two children under the age of 16 years can be brought free of charge on second class.
Night trains, sleeping car, couchette or seat
If you travel with a connection which includes a night train, we recommend that you contact our DSB Customer Centre International on +45 70 13 14 18. They will help you choose the right accommodation type depending on whether you want a berth or bed in a compartment for one, two or three people. At Netbutik Udland, you can buy a ticket for the night train if you want to travel in sleeper, couchette or seat carriages.
DSB Orange Europa SparNight/Non Flex
- DSB Orange SparNight is sold for Nightjet connections.
- DSB Orange SparNight tickets can be purchased for seated, couchette and sleeping cars.
- There are a limited number of tickets.
- The ticket is only valid for the chosen departure.
- The ticket cannot be changed or refunded.
SJ Supersaver Sverige/Non Flex
- This product (SCIC-IRT) is subject to Sj’s conditions.
- One-way tickets sold for first and second class for selected departures on High-speed trains between Swedish stations and Malmö or Copenhagen.
- The ticket offers a discount on the normal price and is usually the cheapest option which DSB can sell to adults travelling on High-speed trains.
- The ticket is only valid for the departure specified on the ticket.
- There are a limited number of tickets.
- The ticket is not refundable.
- A connection ticket can be purchased for a Danish route from a station outside the Greater Copenhagen area to Malmö or Copenhagen at a discount of 25% on the normal price.
- You can bring two children under the age of 16 years on second class.
Terms and conditions for tickets purchased at DSB Netbutik Udland
- International tickets purchased at DSB Netbutik Udland can be refunded if specified on the ticket. Tickets issued at normal price can normally be refunded before the first validity date of the ticket. Discounted products such as DSB Orange Europa are not refundable.
- You can also usually buy the ticket at DSB Netbutik 180 days before the date of departure. This also applies if you buy the ticket from DSB Customer Centre International at +45 70 13 14 18 or from the ticket sales point at Copenhagen Central Station, Odense or Aarhus H.
- If you want to buy seat reservations, this is usually possible up to 180 days before the date of departure. However, this period may be reduced in connection with schedule changes. If you want a seat reservation on a Danish domestic train, the reservation can be made no sooner than two months before the date of departure.
- If you buy Print at Home tickets from DSB Netbutik Udland, you need to state the name of the traveller and an e-mail address to which the ticket and purchase receipt can be forwarded. Moreover, you must accept the terms and conditions before the purchase.
- If you cannot accept these conditions, you can buy the ticket at DSB Netbutik Udland and have it sent by mail, via DSB Customer Centre International on tel. +45 70 13 14 18 or from the ticket sales point at one of the following stations which sell international tickets; Copenhagen Central Station, Odense or Aarhus H.
- If you want the tickets sent by mail, you have to pay a fee of DKK 50 for each delivery. You should expect 10 business days for delivery to an address in Denmark and 20 business days for deliveries outside Denmark.
- For journeys which can be issued as Print at Home tickets, it is possible to choose Print at Home as the delivery. It is the customer’s responsibility to download the tickets and ensure that details about name and e-mail address are correct.
Print at Home tickets
- At DSB Netbutik Udland, you can buy the tickets as Print at Home tickets when you travel in connection with the following countries: Germany, The Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Austria and Sweden.
- The Print at Home ticket is valid in printed form (normal DIN A4 format on white paper). When the ticket covers Danish and German lines, you may show the ticket on a PC, tablet or smartphone provided that the ticket is legible and scannable. For all other lines, it is important that the document is printed in good and legible quality
- If you buy tickets from DSB Netbutik Udland, you need to state the name of the traveller and an e-mail address to which the ticket and purchase receipt can be forwarded.
- Moreover, the traveller must show passport (or identity card with picture) in connection with ticket inspection on the train.
Prices at dsb.dk
- All prices and tickets at dsb.dk are indicative “minimum” prices which may vary depending on the number of tickets or seats offered and on the time of purchase.
The prices at DBS Netbutik are valid at the time of the price inquiry. If you search again at a later time, the price may differ from the previous search. If you want to make sure to buy the ticket at the price shown, you will have to complete the purchase as DSB does not guarantee that the price will be available at a later time.
